FAQs

  • Physical therapy is an evidence-based profession that specializes in the understanding of human movement to optimize function. The clinical application of physical therapy ranges from rehabilitation from pain and injury to performance and activity-specific training to help individuals reach their desired goals.

  • At Paradigm Physical Therapy & Wellness, your care will be provided exclusively by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who will perform a functional evaluation to identify the specific impairments that are causing pain or limiting progress. You will receive thorough education on the clinical findings of your evaluation and an exercise prescription that is tailored to your lifestyle and goals.

  • You can schedule an initial evaluation with a doctor of physical therapy by contacting our office via email or phone. According to California law, you do not need a physician’s referral or PT prescription to access our care. Click here to get on our schedule!

  • No, we are not contracted with any insurance groups. We believe in offering the highest quality of care that will take you to your next level of health that would otherwise not be possible through an insurance-based clinic. Think of our performance-based services like “Doctor of Physical Therapy meets Personal Trainer.” Insurance doesn’t pay for fitness and strength training, unfortunately. We’re here to give you TRUE health insurance, which is a pain-free, strong, and resilient body.

  • We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash. We also accept cards associated with your health savings account (HSA) or flexible spendings account (FSA), though we cannot guarantee that our services will qualify for reimbursement. Please check your specific HSA/FSA plan for details.
